To address the ban on traditional Lunar New Year firecrackers in many Chinese cities due to safety and environmental concerns, we developed a digital firecracker experience through a mobile H5 site. This innovation allows users to connect their phones, creating a "firecracker string" that, when ignited by pressing a start button, simulates the visual and sound effects of real firecrackers. As a reward, participants receive JD shopping credits, blending cultural tradition with modern incentives. This creative use of technology not only preserves a cherished Lunar New Year practice in a safe and sustainable manner but also enhances brand engagement and demonstrates a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation.
